Humanity Protocol Secures Funding For Web3 ID Solution:
Polygon-backed Humanity Protocol has secured strategic investments from over 20 crypto venture capital firms, including Hashed, CMCC, Cypher Capital, Foresight Ventures, and Mechanism Capital, to support its privacy-centric Web3 identity solution. The funding will aid the development and deployment of Humanity Protocol's technology, which aims to establish "Proof of Humanity" within Web3 applications.
Humanity Protocol is leveraging palm recognition technology and zero-knowledge proofs to provide a user-friendly and privacy-preserving approach to digital identity verification. The firm believes its digital ID solutions will impact how individuals interact with digital services, particularly amidst growing concerns about artificial intelligence and data security.
The secured funds will be used to accelerate the development and adoption of Humanity Protocol, focusing on scalability, efficiency, and user accessibility. This includes preparing for the launch of their testnet, allowing users worldwide to experience the technology firsthand.

Rarimo Introduces ZK-Based Voting Tool For Anon Participation:
Rarimo, an interoperability protocol for decentralizing social identity, has released a zk-based voting platform called "Freedom Tool," allowing for citizen-run, anonymous elections where individuals can confirm their eligibility to participate in governance measures without compromising their personal information.
The platform leverages blockchain technology and zero-knowledge identity management to ensure secure, publicly verifiable, and tamperproof voting, with full anonymity for each participant. Users can create personalized voter profiles using their mobile phone's biometric passport information, and the app authenticates credentials using zero-knowledge cryptography, issuing an anonymous identity pass for voting.
The Freedom Tool aims to shift power back towards the people, especially in regions where opposition is barred from running and minority groups are excluded from voting. The first implementation of the tool will be an opposition app in an Eastern European regime, enabling dissidents to anonymously register their opinions and vote for alternative electoral candidates.

CoinGecko Enables Access To On-Chain DEX Data Via API:
CoinGecko has launched a feature allowing the community to access on-chain data from decentralized exchanges (DEXs) through its API, supported by its DEX tracking arm, GeckoTerminal. The integration provides a unified API for crypto prices, market data, metadata, and on-chain liquidity pool data for cryptocurrencies not yet listed on CoinGecko.
The new product update expands CoinGecko's API coverage to 2.2 million tokens across 2.5 million liquidity pools, enabling users to access data from about 900 DEXs across 120 networks, including platforms like Uniswap, PancakeSwap, Orca, Curve, and Balancer, available to paid API subscribers through 20 new endpoints.
CoinGecko's announcement follows developments in the decentralized finance (DeFi) space, such as Aave's deployment of its lending protocol on the BNB Chain network and Uniswap's launch of a web extension for its native wallet, enabling users to send, receive, buy, and swap digital assets directly from their browsers.
