WAX Signs Deal With Amazon Web Services:
  • The gaming-focused layer-1 blockchain Worldwide Asset Exchange (WAX) has signed a deal to use Amazon Web Services (AWS) and integrate its network into the Amazon Managed Blockchain (AMB) service, allowing developers to build decentralized apps (dapps) on the WAX blockchain.

  • The integration with AMB enables WAX developers to deploy nodes through the AWS console and use them for building on the blockchain, leading to a more than 20% increase in the blockchain's native token over the day.

  • WAX CTO Lukas Sliwka stated that the partnership with AWS is a significant step toward the mass adoption of Web3, with the network facilitating 141 million transactions in the past 30 days and hosting 160 Web3 games, including Brawlers, which is part of the Amazon Prime Gaming service.
