Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Vows to Put the U.S. Budget on the Blockchain:
Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has proposed to place the entire U.S. federal budget on blockchain to increase transparency and allow public real-time access to budget details, advocating for accountability in government spending.
Kennedy, who accepts campaign donations in bitcoin and supports backing the U.S. dollar with bitcoin, has opposed the creation of a central bank digital currency (CBDC), aligning with some Republican views though he runs as an independent.
As Kennedy aims to be seen as the pro-cryptocurrency candidate in the upcoming election, he has received strong support from the crypto advocacy group Stand With Crypto, contrasting with the varied stances of his opponents, President Biden and former President Trump.
