Binance to Let Users Bet On Futures Platform Token Listings":
Binance has introduced its Next platform, allowing users to speculate on which tokens will be listed on its futures exchange, with rewards for successful predictions.
Users can nominate tokens for listing and place bets on them, earning rewards like bonus vouchers or trading fee rebates if correct.
The platform operates independently of Binance's listing process, focusing on rewarding accurate market predictions rather than influencing token listings.

MIT & Harvard Alumni Launch Accelerator to Support Web3 Founders:
MIT and Harvard alumni have launched a non-dilutive startup accelerator, MIT x Harvard Blockchain Accelerator, focused on supporting early-stage web3 founders associated with either institution, with a focus on pure mentorship and no equity taken.
The accelerator's founding mentors are from both institutions and include prominent figures from the crypto industry, with additional mentors from firms like a16z, Avalanche, and Polygon. Startups must have at least one team member associated with MIT or Harvard to participate.
The first cohort program will begin next month and conclude in June, with applications currently being accepted. The accelerator aims to strengthen the MIT, Harvard, and broader Cambridge crypto ecosystems.

Wyoming Passes Law to Give DAOs a Nonprofit Legal Framework:
Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon signed the Decentralized Unincorporated Nonprofit Association Act, allowing DAOs with at least 100 members to become unincorporated nonprofit associations starting July 1, 2024.
The new law permits DAOs registered as nonprofits to engage in profit-making activities, provided all proceeds support the nonprofit's purpose, and allows them to acquire and transfer property, including tokens.
This legislation follows the Wyoming Decentralized Autonomous Organization Supplement Act of 2021 and its 2022 amendments, offering a legal framework for DAOs in the state and improving clarity on their operation and management.

Griffin Raises $24M & Attains Full Banking License:
Griffin Bank, a UK-based API-driven BaaS platform founded by former Silicon Valley engineers, has obtained a banking license, allowing it to launch as a fully operational bank.
The bank aims to offer a full-stack platform for fintech companies to provide banking, payments, and wealth solutions, focusing on embedded financial services for businesses rather than direct consumer accounts.
Griffin has raised a total of around $52 million since its founding in 2017, with a recent $24 million Series A extension round led by MassMutual Ventures, NordicNinja, and Breega. The company plans to target the embedded finance and BaaS market, which is expected to grow significantly in the coming years.
Finboot Receives Funding to Advance Supply Chain Sustainability:
Finboot has successfully completed the first close of its latest funding round, aimed at supporting its growth and assisting companies in their net-zero transitions through innovative technology solutions.
The funding round was led by a strategic investor and supported by Wealth Club, providing Finboot with capital, experience, and resources to accelerate its mission.
The funds will be used to advance Finboot's proprietary solution, MARCO, a platform designed to seamlessly incorporate blockchain technology within supply and value chains, helping businesses meet their ESG goals and comply with global regulations.
